Hey

A little page just for you, so you never have to wonder how the exam prep is going.

The short version: there's a real plan, it's written down, and it's built around his work weeks instead of pretending the next three are free. This one is under control.

Is it realistic?

Yes, genuinely. The reasoning:

  • The heavy studying lands on his days off, not on tired evenings after a full day of work.
  • Work nights stay short, around an hour, usually just flashcards. There's only so much left in the tank after leading a team all day, and the plan is built around that rather than ignoring it.
  • The festival (12 to 14 June) is a real break. Resting is part of the plan, so enjoy it with a clear conscience.
  • There's a full practice exam a week early (Fri 19 June), timed like the real thing, so the actual day holds no surprises.
  • The last few days are calm on purpose: light review, pack the bag, early night. No all-nighter.

So the hard work is done early and there's a buffer before the exam.

What's actually been put together

This isn't a vague "I'll study soon." There's a proper study site behind it:

  • Written summaries of all 8 lectures, each one checked back against the original slides for mistakes.
  • A "minimum to pass" page boiling every topic down to the points that matter most.
  • Around 90 flashcards and a full 9-question practice exam to rehearse with.
  • The day-by-day plan below, which the site quietly tracks as he works through it.

The plan, day by day

Everything in one place: his work days (office, home, or off) and what he's doing for the exam each day. The exam is Friday 26 June.
